Hybrid Carbon/Shortwave Infrared Heaters

hybrid Heraeus Noblelight's hybrid Carbon/Shortwave heater offers all of the benefits of Carbon and Shortwave heaters using Heraeus' proven twin-tube design. This infrared heater combines a carbon heater and a short wave infrared heater in the proven quartz glass twin tube. This unique combination allows the use of infrared heat in applications which require both short wave and medium wave infrared radiation. The result is homogenous heating, perfectly matched to the application. Unlike pure carbon heaters, the voltage can also be adjusted. This heater is ideal for applications requiring different absorption spectra or depths of penetration, within the same product. Popular applications include drying of printed tissues; toner fixing; simultaneous cooking and browning of foodstuffs, among many others.
