Power Control Systems - AccuPower Series

AccuPower units from Heraeus Noblelight are proportional, variable power controllers capable of delivering 1-98% of the applied line voltage to the directly connected infrared heaters used in a wide array of process applications.

By means of its internal phase angle firing TRIAC (triode for alternating current), AccuPower units deliver the current as required. The AccuPower's built-in microprocessor-based digital controller allows varying of the output. The AccuPower adjusts the power level, sending a pulsed signal to the TRIAC. The result is smooth, continuously variable power for resistive loads only.
