MODULAR SYSTEMS :
MMS MODULES
Flexible construction with standard sizes
These modules have all the advantages of mediumwave twin-tube IR heaters with gold reflector:
Advantages

- The standard sizes allow for maximum flexibility in many applications
- No assembly. MMS modules come complete and ready for operation
- Two lengths and four power ratings permit a variety of layouts
- A simple support frame is possible due to the low overall weight of the modules
- Uniform radiation field regardless of power density or size
- Minimum convection losses due to housing design and IR heaters from quartz glass
- Low filament mass makes for faster heater response
- Twin tube heater provides for excellent mechanical strength for industrial applications
- Pure gold, reverse-side reflectors yield unidirectional radiation for high efficiency
- Simple control possible. MMS modules can be operated on an on/off basis, variable transformer, thyristor or SCR power control
Applications
These modules have all the advatages of mediumwave twin-tube infrared heaters with gold reflectors. Due to their compact design they are ideal "building blocks" for large area IR radiation fields.
MMS modules are ideal for heating, drying and curing of small components or larger multi-zone applications for the laboratory, in pilot plants, or production.
The heaters are for use in the horizontal position only (the MMS module can be in a vertical position, but the filament should always be horizontal to the ground).

Please ask for information about the advantages of the mediumwave twin-tube infrared heater of quartz glass with reverse-side gold coating (standard reflector).
Features of Construction
The heater units with nominal dimensions of 250mm x 250mm and 250mm x 500mm are supplied with different power ratings. All designs are fitted with either 3 or 5 reverse-side gold plated mediumwave twin-tube IR heaters.
The outer housing of the MMS module is constructed from anodized aluminum and is fitted with vent holes. Four tapped holes (M6) are located in the back and are intended for assembly on user supplied frame or oven. Four hexagon bolts M 6x60 of stainless steel and 4 ceramic standoffs serve as separator pieces. These are delivered as standard assembly fittings. All heaters have three Teflon fiberglass insulated connecting wires 500mm long. The leads can be taken out at the back or sides. Simple frames of steel or aluminum can be made to accomodate multiple modules.
