APPLICATIONS
UV Glue Processing
UV glues do not take effect by the drying of a solvent or by the reaction of two components, but by the irradiation of the glue with UV. This is why these UV-glues offer a number of special advantages:
- The glue will remain processable as long as necessary. It is sufficient to protect it from UV.
- UV glues are quick hardening agents. When they are irradiated with a sufficiently high doses they can harden within less than 5 seconds.
- As the processability is that wide and the hardening is so quick, UV glues are widely used for the assembly of small parts where accuracy is required.
- There are UV glues that are specially transparent for visible light and therefore are extremely suitable for gluing together glass and crystal.
